Phil Carrols pub is located on Parnell St just below Hearn’s hotel.

Fitted out in the 1920’s, little has changed since apart from the addition of  toilets  - the only example left in Clonmel of an original pub.

Music: Good decent rock pumping out from behind the bar. Never afraid to play the old stuff. Bar Staff are friendly and efficient.

Food: Not known for its cuisine and not open till 4p.m. On a good day though buts come in both salted and dry roasted varieties

Pint: Top marks for the pint. A fine sup that can’t be beat.Not in Clonmel anyhow.
